Young Carers Workers Conference 2009 announced

We are delighted to invite you to The Princess Royal Trust Young Carers Workers Conference 2009. We have organised an exciting selection of plenary sessions, practical training workshops and networking opportunities, which will be of equal benefit to services both within and outside The Trust’s network.

If you would like to attend the conference, please complete and send your booking form and workshop selection form by Thursday 12 February.

The conference is being held on 24th-25th March at The Old Swan hotel in Harrogate, a delightful four star hotel in the centre of Harrogate. Visit the Old Swan hotel website.

If your organisation IS a member of The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, please complete a Booking Form for Trust Network Members for your organisation’s free place. If your organisation is NOT in The Princess Royal Trust for Carers network or if you are a statutory service, please complete the Booking Form for Voluntary and Statutory Sector Organisations.

For non members, places are available at very reasonable rates:

A full conference package for voluntary sector delegates is available at £180 with a day delegate rate of £50.

A full conference package for statutory sector delegates is available at £300 with a day delegate rate of £100.

We regret that we cannot pay travel expenses or additional expenses incurred at the hotel for attendees such as newspapers, additional refreshments etc. Additionally, if you want to stay at The Old Swan hotel the night before the conference starts, we have pre booked a limited number of rooms and are able to book a room for you, but the cost of this will have to be met by your organisation, upon departure from the hotel.

We expect there to be a high demand for places at the conference so please do book early to avoid disappointment. Joining instructions and other information will be sent out with your confirmation.
