There is no doubt that making a donation is a straightforward and effective way to help carers. You can support one of our projects or let us use the money where it’s currently needed most. We’ll report back to you and your staff, and show you the difference you’ve made to people’s lives.

GlaxoSmithKline
GSK has supported The Trust for a number of years. We have recently ended a research project into carer support across Primary Care, Their support has enabled us to focus on the way we work across our Carer Centre networks with Primary Care workers to reach and support carers, and to highlight and disseminate best practice. The report, “Best Practice, Better Practices – A New Deal for Carers in Primary Care” can be found here.

We have recently secured funding from GSK to extend this research to the wider arena of Health and Social Care. The “Out of Hospital” research project, due to commence later this year, will enable the Trust to strengthen its position as a key partner in working to support carers in the Primary and Secondary care context. This is crucial for The Trust if we are to continue to develop our work both with carers on the ground, and also our links into government and policy.
